Looking for family history of Ernest Hargrave 1884-1968

Little is known about the Hargrave side of my family. It is believed that he and Annie thornton Cresswell eloped. He served time in the NZ Navy and resided in ChCh and Nelson and died in Christchurch.

EFC on 2014-05-01 02:37:17Annie and Ernest didn't elope they married at the Anglican Church in Castlecliff, Wanganui. Annie's sister Nella was the bridesmaid and her brother Roland was bestman.
Annie was my grandfathers first cousin.
