My paternal great grandmother was named Marie Fierebach. She was born July 19, 1875 in Wyszogrod, Poland, which is located on the Wisla river. She married my g-grandfather, Christian Krettmann (Kretmann), son of Michael Krettmann, son of Wojciech Krettmann. Marie's parents were Jacob Fierebach and Marie Kogler. They were Germans living in Poland.

They immigrated to the us in 1905. I am trying to locate any relatives and other researchers with this line. The last name is also seen as Fireback, Fierbach, Fiereback, Fareback, Fahreback, and any number of other variations. While I don't know that all of those others with different spellings are related, I can't find my FIEREBACH line with that spelling either.
