My GGGrandfather James Everett moved here to Michigan from New York about 1840 or so. As far as I know his children were all born here in Michigan which places him here before 1842. His wifes name was Polly. I have nothing on her except that she was also born in NY. Their children were Mary Everett Pifer b about 1842, Myron Everett b abt 1845?, Julia Everett Steele b Apr 22, 1845, Ellen Everett b abt Aug 1850, James Jr b about 1852, and Samuel Everett b abt 1857. Samuel is my GGandfather.
