McPhee and Co. once owned this Concord. They had a run between Ballarat and Avoca. It carried up to 20 passengers and the mail slipped into those leather side bags. The Avoca run was usually driven by Mr.McPhee's son Tom.
Who was Willson? did he work for McPhee's

This what I thinkk I know about him. Apparently he worked as a groom. This is what I know from Ballarat Orphan Asylum documents and Ballarat Cemetery Records. He states he lived at 76 Lydiad St
He married Adelaide Simpson or Samson in 1880 .They had three children Albert Ernst Willson born 1880,Ethil Maud born Willson born 1882 and Charles Willson born 1888.

When his wife died in 1888 he placed the three children in the Orphanage. He paid 2/6 per week to the Orhanage to care for the children. Ethil stayed in Ballarat all her life. She married Charles Austin Rimington. The Remington family had a Pram/ bicycle shop in Ballarat.
Thomas buried his wife with Rebecca Jane Morrow,we think was his first wife who died 1878.Also in the grave is Robert Willson ,Ehil's twin who died several months. Anything information about Thomas or Thomas Byde Willson,he may also be know as John Byde Willson would be appreciated.
He was born Hertfordshire England and arrived Australia 1850 on British Queen(?) On the Orphanage documents he states he was a groom working for McPhees and gives his residencs as McPhees Stables. This dated 13 July 1888.
Any help in tracking his movements would be appreciated.I am also interested in McPhees Stables.

It's possible John and Thomas were brothers rather than the same person.
Rebecca and Annie, might have been in-laws sharing the grave.

Janilye, thank you for the quick responce and the info. Brothers might be the answer.I was not considering that angle. I will try to find more about them both in Hertsfordshire England.
Thanks again much appreciated.
