Looking for Scott's of Halifax,Yorkshire, England

James was born in Scotland in 1812, and Susannah in 1817 in Halifax,Yorkshire, England. They had a son named Matthew Walker Scott born in 1834 in Mayo County, Ireland. Then had the balance of their children in England. Annie Maria, Mary Swan, George Hitchen and Walter Scott were all born sometime after 1845. I have reached a roadblock trying to find anything on James or Susannah(her maiden name was Walker). Can anyone please help me?
