Name: Mary Ellen MCKENZIE.
Born: 1882 Rupanyup, Victoria.
Father: John MCKENZIE.
Mother: Janet Drummond STEWART.
Ref: Registry of Births, Victoria. Reg #25331.
If Mary was 80 years old when she died in 1961 she would have been born circa 1881.
Mary's second given name of Ellen may confuse the issue but the name Ellen often changed to Helen in later records. The name may have been recorded wrong to start with.
Mary's parents named at death were John and Janet D.
The D may be for Drummond.
Mary's death certificate for 1961 should confirm her correct parents names, as should the 1907 marriage certificate to John SHIPARD. I also noticed SHIPARD was recorded as SHIPHARD in the W.A. marriage records.
I will do a few more searches during the day.
