Thank you SO much for the information that you provided. I had months/years of research that disappeared on me and I can't find the helpful website that I was able to branch from that helped me with everything that I had found. Ultimately, although I plan on doing the entire family tree (again), I hope to find my grandmothers Tribal number which my mom had in her bible at one time and can no longer locate. I have been told I am part Cherokee but I haven't been able to find any proof as yet. Are we allowed to communicate outside of this sight and if so, would you be interested in a E-mail "relationship"? I'm so interested in learning where you find your information and how/if you choose who you're going to help or were you familiar with the names I had posted. Hope to hear from you again. And again...thanks for your help. My name is Carol.

I treat this site as a detective game, lets Find the missing person. I have done alot of my own tree over the last 5 years. I do not know this family and so far on this site I have not been related to any of the families of the people i have helped. I am based in Engand mid way between Liverpool and Chester. I tend to pick England and USA posts and only if I have a hit almost staight away. It helps more if people put in names dates/places of birth even if approx. The reason I pick this name was the christen name are a bit unusual in the UK.

Send me PM with your e-mail addy and who you are looking for and I will what I can do, no promises I will be successful

Hello...All of these are DEFINITELY my family of Coopers. I'm not sure when Mintie passed away. I will ask my mom and let you know if she has that information. My grandmother Opal had (I believe) 11 siblings so this is a very large family. Opal passed away when my mother was 3 and my grandfather (James Smith) had my mom in a different part of the country so my mom has never had any contact with any of her MANY aunts, uncles and cousins. When I did the research that was lost...I was just starting to branch out from Opals siblings because I have been told that I have dozens and dozens (if not more) relatives out there that I have never met. I was having a hard time finding much. I don't have a large family and would love to at least know who they are, where they live and what they do along with finding out if any of them have any info on the Cherokee Indian issue. Thank you again SO MUCH for the time (your time) finding this information for me. I will be in contact. Also....one of Opals older brothers (I believe it was William but am not positive)was a gangster and there are newspaper clippings somewhere in the archives about some of his "doings". I believe he dies in a shoot out that some of his siblings were involved in.

Hello, thank you for your response. My name is Carol Marlin. I apologize for the length in time that it took to respond. I, for some reason, didn't see your E-mail until today. I'm so excited to get a response from someone who I may be related to. It's a first. My mom introduced us to a family (I believe in Phoenix) who she still had contact with. The Head of House was/is a female (cousin I believe) whose first name was Carol. She had several children and one of them was Bobby who I became great friends with. I was still pre-teen so I don't remember much else but it would be wild if this was your family. I really hope to hear from you real soon.
