My great grandfather Michael Sylvester Westrope came over with his mother and two step brothers from Armagh or antrim Ireland. The father must have died in Ireland the way things look. According to my father Earl Alexander Westrope his grandmothers name was Flannery. Who I would really like to find is the grt grt grandfathers name in Ireland. Have been looking for some time but it is very difficult to find someone who you know little about.My grt grandfather married Honorah Shannon who was born in Fermagh,Ireland.I would say they stayed in Goderich for a number of yrs and then came to the Alpena,Mi. areas. They had 8 children. 7 boys and 1 girl. They were in and around Alpena,Mi. after coming from Goderich,Canada.My grt grandmother had brothers in Goderich,Canada who stayed over there. Doris Troyer
