Thankyou,

James Climo was my Grandfather on my paternal fathers side. Long story I am the biological child of Ivan Rex CLIMO and Hazel Alice WENSOR (commonly known as LONDON)nee
CAVANAGH. At the moment I am attempting to focus on my maternal parents tree as it seems to be a lot harder to unravel.

Information I have so far obtained and verified is

Lillian Winifred PRUDEN born 1901 married William John Campbell CAVANAGH born 1893. From what i understand they married when Lillian PRUDEN was about seventeen years old

by ngairedith on 2014-03-01 02:49:56

so, do you want to go back - Lillian's parents, siblings, grandparents?
or are you looking for her children

by ngairedith on 2014-03-01 03:42:45

Lillian was the 4th of at least 7 children
her parents were Arthur Frederick PRUDEN (1875-1916) & Hannah Elizabeth BLOOMFIELD (1878-1963)
(Arthur served as Sergeant Major 26/57. When he was killed in action at Somme, France aged 41, Hannah was living in Te Puke)
Their son Leslie John Pruden, also served in WWI, embarking a month before his father died

Arthur Frederick Pruden's parents were:
George Eugene PRUDEN (1842-1918) & Mary Ann WILLIAMS (1843-1912)

Hannah Elizabeth Bloomfield's parents were:
Joseph BLOOMFIELD (1849-1918) & Elizabeth Thorpe READ (1849-1928)

your family (of the Pruden line) is mentioned on this posting
James Callan or (Callum) Pruden

hi anafred,
sometimes BDM 'rounds up or down' the ages
Harold Arthur was born Boxing Day 1899 (26 Dec). He died 8 November 1902 so was actually aged 2.11

it certainly will be, thank you anafred
we would also love some stories and photos about your family when you have it sorted :)

I have a few just trying to get a very uncooperative family to cooperate at the moment. Sadly the generations seem to have drifted apart. I'm very tempted to say that Arthur Fredrick PRUDEN and his father George PRUDEN may have at some stage shared the residence at Rawhitiroa which is near Eltham, with families (siblings, wifes) as well. I only have photos taken of the residence around 10 years ago. Have done archive searches but to no avail. Have posted what i feel of interest on a blog type thing already.

Omg thank you so much for the link to your journal this family is of great interest to me. I shall post also some photographs of the home in Rawhitiroa as time allows. The early Cemetery in Rawhitiroa is within sight of the house which i was always fascinated by. Have not received death certificate for poor little Harold Arthur as yet.

Hi Anafred,

My Nana is Hazel Alice Climo who lived in Eketahuna, New Zealand - I know Nana was married a couple of times and had (I think) 7 children.
Those names you have mentioned above relate to my Nana.
I have sent you a private message.

Thanks,

Erica
