Malinda Jane Ross b. Madison Co. Ky. She married James Ross 1850 Madison co. ky She was a Ross so she may have been a cousin. Ido not know who her parents were. My John Ross b, va. migrated to the carolinas then to madison co. ky in 1797 to the then paint licklick area of madison co.ky with his brother George Ross they had plantations on emery river in greenville area s. car. They raised families in this area and Johns son Alex. /alex. son/james / his daughter elizabeth had one son my grandf. Ihave research for 23 years on this family and also the walkers of madison /garrard areas for 27 years I have researched many surnames all of myfathers lines and all of my husband of 51= years lines. I love doing gene. my brick wall is Malinda janes death date where buried and elizabeths death date and where buried I have much info.
