Most of my Kent Pankhursts came from Shoreham -
eg, my ggg grandfather Henry, who was christened on Jan 21 1810.
Also have a Bessy Pankhurst who was born abt 1808 in Cranbrook.
Don,t know if we maight have a connection ?
heatherlaverty on 2009-10-04 15:53:12Hi I am interested in the pankhursts from hastings Sussex England. My GG grandfather was Joseph Pankhurst and I don't know too much about him. He was married in Adelaide SA in 1842 to somebody named Mary Ann it doesn't state her maiden name but she died 1845 and in 1847 he married my GG Grandmother Mary Purdy, SA diedn't put too much information on their certificates. It does not stat how old he was who his parents were or where they came from. But have found his death certificte in Victoria. He died in 1865 in Geelong Victoria age 43 and on his death certificate it states he came from Hastings Sussex england. If any one has any information it would be appreciated
I am particularly interested in the Pankhursts from Cranbook in kent who moved to Timbescombe in Somerset.
