A Jane Elizabeth LUSK was my husband's Great Great Great GrandMother b:in London on 30th September 1803,and was the daughter of John LUSK and Jane JARRETT. She was married to a Richard Fleming HILLAS (son of Fleming HILLAS and Mary DAMES of Whitechapel MDX).

I have no idea where John & Jane were married or born, But I do have dates from an old family document that was written around the late 1800's.

Jane LUSK(nee JARRETT) b: 17th October 1778.
Married: 22nd July 1801

John LUSK was a Master Mariner and Captain of the "LANG", "MARY","GEORGE HIBBERT" & the "BRIXTON".
I have been able to trace many of his voyages to Van Dieman's Land (Tasmania) from England, which were in the early 1800's.
John & Jane also had 3 other children:-

Arthur John LUSK b:12th July 1802
George Aiken LUSK b:4th May 1806 d:Drowned-Tasmania 25/4/1829(22yrs)
Harcoll LUSK b: 24th April 1808 d: 3rd Sept 1808

John also married an Alice Jane SWANSON on 16 May 1825
at St Dunstans in Stepney London.
They had 3 children:-
Selina Augusta LUSK b : 14/03/1827
Georgina Alice Tasmania LUSK b:4 /11/1829
Adelaide LUSK b: 29/09/1830
John Lusk was also the Grandson of Arthur LUSK who circumnavigated the world with COmmodore george Anson from 1740-1744.
