There appears to be some difference of opinion over our ancestors, and their origin, we have birth and death certificates which may help with some enquiries.

Hi Bug 68,I am a descendent of Edward English the grandfather of Henry Edmund so that makes us 3rd cousins. I cant find your george dimmock born and died in 1922. I can find George (1912-1922) but I can find a Noel G who died in 1928. Happy to share what I know. I am pretty sure Edward English (Helena Mary's dad) was a sheep stealer transported in 1833 aged 18 from Tipperary Irelend

Hi Philjane, I am a bit slack, I put the names of my fathers siblings by what they were known as. George Dimmock who was born in 1912 qnd died in 1922 was born Noel George Dimmock but known as George, he passed away the age of 10 after being hit in the chest at school and suffered a heart attack, he was not a particularly healthy child to start with. I think dad said heart problem. I didn't know about the sheep stealer, that is interesting. I did hear one part of the family came to Australia for doing something wrong and others came out the right way. I am happy to help you with anything I know, my sister has been tracing the family history for about 40 years and shared it with us.
The correct names were Alice Philomena, Percival Henry, Noel George, Mervyn Edmond, Edna Mary, Leslie Ernest, Daphne Lorna, Ronald, Sylvia Kathleen, Maurice Roy.

Leave another message if that does not makes sense. Looks almost like philip.glasscock@jemena.cam.au except change the last bit to .com.au

I look forward to your email.
