My grandfather's name was Ewen Sylvester English from Ohio Co., Ky.
Sylvester married Ora Allen first and Verda Mae Shanks, Grisham.
Sylvester's father was William H. English of Ohio Co. Ky., He married Elizabeth Allen from Muhlenburg Co. or Mclean Co. , Ky.Elizabeth's father was Henry Allen and her mother was Lucinda Jane Leatherman. I cannot find where he and his wife are buried. They had 5 chilren: Harrison Netter which is buried at Oakhill Cemetery, Livermore, Ky.; John H. b.abt.1867; Paulina J. b.abt. 1874; Pauola b.abt.1871; Ewen Sylvester buried at Walton Creek Cemetery, Centertown, Ky.

I also think William Harvey's father was John English. I have found John in the 1850 census at Ohio Co.,Ky. with his children but no wife. Cannot find anything else on them.
