Yes, Thank you.
I would require specifics on specific individuals before I could even do a look up, and they I would only offer corresponding information. I would also provide the disclaimer from Ancestry.com and suggest that the person get a trial as there is perhaps more info available.
There is also a lot of information that has free access through Ancestry and other sites that I can often point someone to.
I hope anyone reading this post and asking for a lookup would not attempt to take advantage of me or Ancestry. Naturally any real genealogist would not, right? :)
Barbara
Dear Barbara,
I have been trying to put together a family tree, not only for me but for my grandchildren, what I have gotten so far, i've had help, and I thank them all very much, because I am very new at this. I did do the 3 day free trial, but being so new to me I really didn't know what I was doing. I've come to a stand still on both of my grandfathers I can't seem to find out who there parents are for my tree. there names were jacob t nevill 1891-1944 and jacob w. knapp 1870-1943.they were both from around Du Quoin-perry county of Illinois,USA. if there is any help you could give me it would be very appreciated. my name is Brenda Knapp of Du Quoin, Perry county, Illinois,USA my e-mail address is knapp_bren@yahoo.com....Thank you...Brenda Knapp

Barbara, very nice offer. I have an Ancestry.com account too (that I use way too little) and would be willing to do some lookups as well.
One word of caution. From A.com's terms:
"You are licensed to use the Content only for personal or professional family history research, and may download Content only as search results relevant to that research. The download of the whole or significant portions of any work or database is prohibited. Resale of a work or database or portion thereof, except as specific results relevant to specific research for an individual, is prohibited. Online or other republication of Content is prohibited except as unique data elements that are part of a unique family history or genealogy."
Unless you paste in entire A.com search results, I see no problem with doing lookups for others and providing specific information. though I'm not a lawyer. Just wanted to make sure you saw that.
Again, nice offer, I hope some take you up on it.
