John Burridge was the son of John born 1801 in Crediton and Mary Ann Mogridge born 1806 in Crediton. She was the daughter of William Mogridge and Martha Emes who were married on 19 July 1792 in Crediton. Their other children were Abraham 1 April 1793 ( mu gggg grandfather), Christopher 14 Oct 1798 and Thomas 11 Oct 1801.
