i am trying to find the marriage of doris thelma elizabeth gorrie she was originally married to ernest reischbeth mc lean she was going under the surname of miller about 1955-56 she is buried under the name of gorrie she was buried at the melbourne general cemetery in 1996 do hope you can help me thank you

You may like to check your source of information again to assist with further searches.
There was a Michael Francis GORRIE cremated at Springvale in 1989 aged 85 years but no way of confirming if this is the Michael GORRIE you seek.
bindiandbonny on 2018-06-17 05:57:23doris was buried with her son, ernest alvin mclean in the melbourne general cemetery the reference number for alvin is 953802m and doris' reference number is959080 m location mgc-pre- na-807-537 i think that may be book and page number presbyterian, monumental, compartment na, grave 537 31-7- 1996 the michael francis gorrie i believe is possibly the one as there was a d & m gorrie ( mick ) living at 253 elgin street carlton victoria some time around when alvin died in 1955 or later hope this helps
Kincaid1918 on 2018-07-18 14:24:13My research indicates that Ernest Alvin McLean born 1931 had a brother Robert Lewis Mclean born September 24 1933 in Port Pirie, South Australia. Bob as he was known went to Canada, after his brothers death and was a mechanic on the west coast in Vancouver, British Columbia. Bob raced cars at the local Westwood race track and was the Canadian Driving Champion in his Lotus 23b in 1965. Bob was killed racing a Ford GT40 on March 26 1966 during the Sebring 24 hour race. Bob is buried in Vancouver, British Columbia as far as I know, hope this helps Don.
Kincaid1918 on 2018-07-18 15:58:29Also I came across an article in the Canberra Times from Monday Jan 31 1955 on page 2 the following: "Racing Motor Cyclist Injuries Fatal" Melbourne Sunday, a racing motor cyclist Alvin McLean 23 of North Carlton was fatally injured yesterday when his high powered machine got out of control and crashed through a fence as he was doing a trial circuit at the Bandiana Speedway.
