JNO A. HOUSEMAN, b. abt 1831-32 in VA.1860 listed in Ward 3, Richmond, Henrico Co, VA. Listed as Civil War Veteran from an Artillery unit from Richmond. Married 2d or 3d time in Buckingham Co. abt 1877, had two children, Adolphus Housemen 1877 and Samuel Houseman 1880. Would like a census reading on John in 1850, 1860, 1870 from the VA census.

I have digital photo of the microfilm of this census and can send via email if you like. I attempted to locate the 1850 and 1870 as you requested, but were unable to locate with any sense of surety. If you can provide any other info it would be helpful. The 1860 Census says Jno. A. was born at sea. Do you know where his family came from? Two logical places [going by the origin of the name Houseman, would be England and Germany, but would really need more info to verify.]
