Searching for information on Winn Smith born abt . 1808 in South Carolina. In the 1850 Hart County Kentucky census he was listed with his wife Charity Smith and children Elizabeth, Franics M., and William J. In the 1880 Census of Hart County he was listed with his wife Charity and daughter Elizabeth. I have pulled his son’s Francis Marion Smith’s death certificate and it list his mother as Margaret Lyons. I am trying to find Winn’s parents and also if Margaret and Charity are one in the Same. Winn’s son Francis Marion Smith married Rachel Gentry daughter of Solomon Gentry.
