My grandmother's maiden name was Arellanes, shortened from Arrellanes. Her family was a fairly wealthy line in the blacksmith/ironsmith trade. Most recently known (as given to me from my Grandmother) to have found a home in the Los Angeles area of California after periods spent in Spain, France, and in Germany - which is believed to be the family's origin.

My grandmother's name is Alice....now Alice Reeves of Michigan.
