My family name is Anspaugh it is spelled many different ways in history. Anspach, Ansbaugh, Ansbach etc. It is said that the family originated in Anspach Germany.

My grandfather was a twin, Charles Henry Anspaugh and Henry Grant Anspaugh(JR) not sure about the JR. they were born in Steuben County Indiana. Their siblings were Ralph and Martha. All are deceased now.

Their parents were Henry Grant and Maude Taber Anspaugh This couple was divorced.

Henry Grant's parents were John and Sarah Cain Anspaugh. Sarah died at the age of 102. In Steuben County,Indiana She and John are buried at Metz, Indiana.

Their chidren were Jacob Andrew Jackson Anspaugh, Samuel Adams Anspaugh, John Lincoln Anspaugh, Benjamin, Hester Anspaugh Bowles Kirk, Amanda Anspaugh Flegal and Henry Grant Anspaugh
