John McKillop-Davies b.Scotland no dates d.1 Apr 1930 (parents Edward Davies and Flora McKillop) married Catherine Goodwillie nee Hamilton Wood b.abt 1854 Scotland d. 5 Apr 1923. married in ?? New Zealand. then came to Australia where they had the following children:

Florabelle McKillop-Davies b.1886
Edward McKillop-Davies b.1888
John McKillop-Davies b.1890
Albert McKillop-Davies b.1890
Peter Goodwillie b.1892 (no idea why he was born under Goodwillie and he was married as a McKillop-Davies and Buried as a McKillop-Davies)


Catherine's first marriage was to David Goodwillie married Scotland died in New Zealand in some accident, there children where:

James Goodwillie b.1876
Helen Hamilton Goodwillie b.1878
Annie Goodwillie b. ?
Janet Goodwillie b.1881

I think these children where all born in NZ or perhaps 1 born in Scotland

Trina, Hi. I could find no marriage record in NZ between John McKillop-Davies and Catherine Goodwillie nee Hamilton Wood. Perhaps they married in Scotland? Check with the rootschat.com site - Scotland board.

Whereabouts in Australia were 5 children born?

Are you researching the GOODWILLIE name at all?

The kids all born in NSW,I don't think they married in Scotland and not been able to find records in Aust for them, and the family tree grape vines says NZ, but never been able to find a record for their marriage. David Goodwillie died in NZ and it wasnt long after that that they came to Aust.
