I am tracing the Carroll family in Albemarle, Nelson, and Buckingham, VA. My line from yougest to oldest involves: Joseph A. Carroll (born to) Richard Baxter Carroll (born to) George Washington Carroll (born to) Joshua Carroll (born to) John Carroll (born to) William Carroll.

John Carroll's wife was Sarah Jopling (married in December 1785 in Albemarle). Sara was the daughter of James Jopling who was the son of Thomas Jopling. John and Sara lived in the Faber Mill area of nelson county off Irish Road.

I am looking for any information on the Carroll family members listed above, i.e. where they lived, occupation, children, burial sites, etc.
