Need information on James Conner b. abt. 1823 in Indiana.
He was in White Co., Illinois in 1860 and had changed his
name to Oglesby. He married Melvina Harvey and had the
following children: Samuel, Mary A., David . Thomas, and
James. Melvina appeared on the 1870 census with some of
the younger children, but was back to the last name of
Conner. James wasn't there. Any info on this elusive
Conner family would be greatly appreciated.
