William E. Tharp, born 12-30-1875, is my great grandfather. He married Florence Estelle Ellis. Both of these lines have been really diffucult to extend. I have found a William E. Tharp aged 4 on the 1880 Census. He is listed as gson of Irena (Ricketts) Tharp. Irena is widowed from Armstead B. Tharp in 1880 and shows as such on the census. Irena's son Jonas G. listed as living under Irena and listed as widowed would seem the likely father for William E.. Could possibly be son of unmarried daughter Lucy S. who is listed as 21 on the Census.
Anyway, I am looking for confirmation that William E. Tharp is the son of Jonas G. Tharp. Also am looking for the mother of William E.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
