Looking for ancestors and descendants of William Noble b abt 1730 London, England bur. St Giles, Cripplegate, London, 7 Aug 1768

The line followed so far is William, Robert,then William Moses, and William Robert, whose son Creswell Watson Noble came to South Africa in the 1880's, and Cresswell's elder son Watson Leonard was the father of a number of Nobles who grew up in the George and Knysna area of the Cape Province. The younger son, Alfred Robert, died as a young man but also left descendants in South Africa (now U.K.).
Sisters of Cresswell were Emma P., Evalina J., Anna Maria
and Louisa A.
The ancestor families listed come mainly from the South of England. Brannan - Taunton; Catford - Dulverton; Gibbs - Littlehampton; Hobday - Canterbury; Nutter - Climping; Winton - Arundel & Littlehampton area.

Surnames: Brannan Catford. Hobday Gibbs Nutter Winton.

Hi there. You should be able to find the parents names of your Robert William NOBLE including any siblings on the 1841 Census for England. Goto RootsChat.com - England - Kent Lookup Requests

Beyond the 1841 Census you will have to get someone to do parish record lookups in churches or perhaps online if there are any.

Thanx for suggestion - regrettably he was in the army in 1841 & too many possibles in the Census.

A birth certificate finally provided a breakthrough back three more generations to the captioned William Noble b abt 1730.
