I am searching for the Cresie/Creasy/Cressy etc which is spelled several different ways. I would like to find a Charlie/
charles, D Cresie/Cressy/Creasy who I am told is the father of Eddie Harrison Cresie b 1873/1881 in Clarksville, Tn. I am also told he had a mother named Lucy. I am not sure if this is true, but I have been searching to connect these names. I am told when Eddie was 4 years old, his biological father (Charlie?) died and she married someone by the name of Davis, am not sure what first name is. Later she married Andrew Jackson Bowles in 1888 and died when Eddie was a small boy. I would love to make a connection between these people. Could someone please help me? Eddie was adopted by a Robert & Cordie Davis when he was abt 10 years old. He assumed the name of Davis until he married my grandmother (Bertha Mae Hogue) in 1907
