Jeremiah STURGIS was a convict, born about 1801 of North American. Jeremiah arrived in Sydney from England 26th June 1819 on the Baring2. He was 18 years of age at his trial, 16th July 1818 at Montgomery Wales Quarter Sessions. On his death certificate it said he was born in Somersetshire.I have hit a brick wall. His certificate says his parents are James {DYER} STURGISS and Mary Ann. Hope some one can help me.
