My name is Terry Lee CrossBear, I am 54 years old, born and raised in Topeka, Kansas. I am often asked by my children and family members about my father's family from Bullhead, South Dakota and surrounding communities. His name was Michael CrossBear.
I have visited the Standing Rock Reservation several times and have met my aunts and cousins. My grandmother's name was Annie Takes The Hat. I also met the Spiritual Leader Grandpa Joe Flying By before his death.
