Looking for William GIBBON, a carpenter from Wick, Vale of Glamorgan, south Wales. He was married to Jane JENKINS in 1792. found in St James Parish transcripts.
Unble to find where he was born. Is he connected to GIBBON of Trecastle. Have checked other local parishes in records office but no luck. any ideas?
The descendants of William and Jane stayed in Wick until abt 1890. Their son, William married Mary JONES and became the owners of The Carpenters Arms, on Broughton road, once called Potato street. (1841 census)
