Am always looking for those interested in our line. Rumor has it, we are all related. We hail from Scotland but going back far enough, it's said we originally went out of France to Scotland. A lot of my ancestors lived for generations in Canada. After coming to the the USA, settled in NY, PA, MI, IA, CO and CA.

Thanks allycat, for the comment. I've been to those sites and isn't it wonderful that we have access to all of this information, right at our fingertips.
I'm related to Sir Thomas in a round-about way. As I understand, he had no children of his own but he was a brother to one of my greats. I wrote a Brisbin book a few years back that takes our tree into the very early 1400s with names and details. Going back further to mid 1100s to King David 1 of Scotland for bits and pieces. It made it so much easier that this family is so well researched and I doubt there isn't anything out there that I haven't ran into. If it's ever completed, I'm going to be bored out of my mind.
