allycat on 2007-01-10 09:10:08Dear Sophia, Welcome to FamilyTreeCircles. Could you please edit this journal and down the bottom where you have A L W, replace this with LAWAL and and your mother's maiden surname. Insert a commar in between all names so that they appear as clickable links.
Meanwhile, try this website ... it's a link to a powerful genealogical search engine that you can use on all your surnames ... The Surname Navigator. Click on South Africa (there isn't a link for West Africa), type in LAWAL for example, then press search. Lots of window boxes will open up on your computer, about 10 I think, and you can close each one down by clicking on the cross in the top right-hand corner once you have finished with the information.
Also do a search here in the top right-hand corner for FREE, FREEBIES and NEWBIES and you will see lots of freebies for your family tree.
