Thanks to many long lost cousins, I have been able to take the history of this line back to TOMKYNS of Lostwithiel, Cornwall, England 1190. The earliest name in this line that I have is Robert TOMKYNS b. 1240 |

Val, Do you have your family tree posted on the net anywhere? Alison.
ancestry.com
Can you provide link within your profile in the space provided at the bottom? Just click on MeVal48 above.
In your FAVOURITE WEBSITES part.
I don't have any of that information filled out yet within Ancestry, as I have never had to use it. I will look into it and get back to you.
Val, Hi there. A better tip from me would be to perhaps join up as a member and upload your gedcom to Tribal Pages. At least it is free.
Some more questions/tips ... with a family historian/genealogist of your experience, would you be able to share some great websites in your favourites pertaining to your particular surnames. Your journals sound fascinating to me.
And do you know the meaning of some of your elusive/unusual surnames that may not be listed at the usual coat of arms etc websites, for example BRISBANE Coat of Arms, Family Crest and Name History from House of Names ? All information is helpful to others.
And where are people able to obtain your book/s and what is the fee $? (Asking on behalf of other researchers...)
Keep on writing in.
Cheerio, Alison.
This book is private and was only given to close family members for Christmas. Sorry!
Oh, just wondering because you had picture of it in one of your journals.
