I am looking for anything on James Thomas Watsom born about 1848.He married Catherine Edwards and they had 14 children.

Catherine 15.5.1884 married Patrick Morris they were farmers in the Ballarat area

Francis Joseph Sheen they had 7 children of which i am the youngest
I think that James Watson snr was buried in Ballarat and it would have been sometime after 1922 as my mother used to talk about it.
Both he and his wife Catherine from a Maori background and I have a photo of Catherine with a tattoed face.If any one has any thing on this family which could be of help or if they are some of your ancestors please let me know as this is as far as I can get back on this side of my family.

Most especially have a look at the Ballarat genealogy link down the bottom of my journal that I've written above in link.

And if you sign up as a free member of the rootschat.com website, goto the Emigrants to Australia board, post some topics on bdm (birth, death, marriage) lookups as lots of rootschatters have the bdm indexes on cd-rom for each State in Australia.
