That is my wife's Great X 3 Grandfather; she is a Lee. I am stuck on finding any of Thomas Pierce's parents or his wife Nancy Shankle's parents. Any ideas?
Incidentally, I have that Thomas was born in North Carolina, as was Nancy. I have the same DOBs as well as the marriage date and county.
We live in San Antonio, TX. What is your Lee connection?

Do you know of a Thomas Pierce Lee born about 1790 in either Virigina or North Carolina who married Nancy Shankles born about 1799 in North Carolina? They married in 1827 in McNairy County, Tennessee. We believe Thomas' maternal grandmother was also a Shankle. Thanks for any help!
