However, given that Arkie and Frank probably died before ss was put in place and lived in a small town in east Texas, they may not have gotten one. Minnie was alive at least in 1940, so she may have had one. Thank you for your help.
Have you checked, the Social Security death Index? I know... that I have seen the name Minnie, several times. I have been researching the White family too. Whereas, mine are of Maine, Massachusetts, and Florida. Let me know if, I can help. Beth~
