I have Charles Ernest GIDDINS born 8 Aug 1908 Obley, New South Wales, Australia NSW Australia, died 5 Jan 1963 Gilgandra, New South Wales, Australia, the son of: Ernest Henry GIDDINS born 1870 died 1944 Wellington NSW and Anna (Hannah) MOST* born 1867 Wellingrove NSW, died 1933.

Charles married in 1934 at Dubbo NSW to Ida May WHITEMAN, born 31 Dec 1912, Camden, New South Wales, died 26 Feb 2001 aged 88 years). Both are buried Gilgandra General Cemetery, Mendooran Road, Gilgandra, New South Wales, Australia.

My ancestors were the MOST family from Hesse, Germany. Looking for descendants.

*Anna (also known as Hannah) was the sister of my gg grandmother Louisa MERRY nee MOST 1869-1944.

Henry (or Harry) Giddins the father of Ernest Henry Giddins was the brother of my paternal grandfather Isaac Giddins. If you need it, I have a great deal of info and some photos of the Giddins family, dating from early 1800s to today.

Dear Paul, Welcome and thank you for your reply. I am in contact with the daughter of Charles Ernest GIDDINS and Ida May WHITEMAN, namely Betty who lives near Maitland NSW. She is unaware of her GIDDINS ancestry and I have shared with her the mutual MOST data from Germany that we have in common.

I would be very interested in your information and photographs on the Giddins family. And I may even be able to help you expand more upon your genealogy.
