Profile Research Contact | My great grandparents were Michael Francis Higgins and Brigid Torpey, Australia, their children Timothy O'Callaghan Higgins and Edward Cudmore Higgins. Am looking for Brigid's family. She had many sisters , they married into the White family having daughters Maureen and Carmel. Not sure if these girls were cousins of Tim and Ed or my father, Francis Higgins' cousins. othernames associated with Torpeys are Carroll, Kennedy.....Have photos of Maureen and Carmel White also Brigid Torpey. Latter's name could be Bridget.

julianne on 2008-03-25 22:33:38white-torpey marriage would have been mid 19th century in australia. Ibelieve there are white relatives still living near Kells in Co. Meath Irland. My parents visited them in mid 1970s but both parents now dead.
