John GREENWOOD, son of Thomas GREENWOOD (1785-1856) and Sarah WILKES (1788?- ), was born in 1814 in St. Pancras London. He was baptised on 2 April 1815 in St. Pancras.

He was a Pork Butcher Cheesemonger & Poulterer.

He married Harriet FOX on 24 October 1835 in St. Annes Church Soho London. Witness: Robert Gillet, Elizabeth Ann Gillet.

He appeared in the census in 1841 in Beresford Street Woolwich Kent. He died in 1849 in 93 Lauriston Road South Hackney, London. He was buried on 8 November 1888 in Abney Park Cemetery, Hackney, London (Grave 05905).
