My name is Margaret Douglas (nee Beresford) My Mother was Edna Witham before marriage to my Father Rufus Beresford in 1921. Her Father died when she was only 13years old,in 1927/8/9, If you can throw any light on this family for me, I would be so grateful.I know that my Mother, her sister and her parents lived in Tinsley Park Sheffield until her Fathers death,(Where he was involved with the sinking of the colliery there). Then they moved back to live with her Mothers Mother, name of Betts, in Lime Street Sutton in Ashfield Nottinghamshire. I also know that there was a Jack Witham, who was also involved in Sinking of Warsop Colliery Nottinghamshire. He had two sons, David and John.
I know that my G.Father had a brother Clarence who had red hair. I believe he was a teacher.
