Not sure how this all fits into the realm of things but my father (Floyd Emmett Ingersoll) was born in Dawagiac, MI and had a brother named Miles. Floyd's father was Emmett Ingersoll. I am the third (known) child of Floyd. My sister Judith Elaine Ingersoll (Black) born 1940 and Carol Ann Ingersoll (Johnson) born 1942 and myself, John Emmett Ingersoll born Mason City, Iowa (1945). I have three children; Jacqueline Pamela, Nicole Lynn, and Stacie Michell. Floyd also had another son, Robert Floyd Ingersoll born 1955 (?) who is my step-brother. Bob has a wife (Annette) and two children (Ashley Marie and Eric Robert Ingersoll). They currently reside in Hawaii. I live in Colorado Springs. Carol Ann Johnson is the geneologist in this family. Johnson b.5-13-1938 in Klamath Falls, OR and we have 8 children (7 living): Darlene Marie b.3-27-1961, Brian Keith b.5-23-1962, Virginia Susanne b.9-16-1964 - d.9-16-1964, Eric Todd b.6-3-1966, Joanna Christine b.5-14-1970, Karina Dawn b.10-24-1973, Aaron David b.6-23-1976, Roxanne Dionne b.10-12-1977. Hi Carol, My dad Miles Dean Ingersoll born June 16, 1924 and died Nov. 2? (senior moment)1984. My mom Phyllis Pauling Rife nineth child of Clarence Edward Rife and Mary Melvina (shockey)Rife born Nov.6, 1932. They had 9 children. Miles Chris, Renne' Marie, Jackie Lynn, Douglas Dean, Mary Phyllis, Laura Jean, Sandra Ann, Stacey Allen, and Jennifer Sue. I will give you all of our birth dates. You may have this information. I will give you all of our children and grandchildren's names and birthdates soon.
Have you ever heard any mention of my dad's first wife. Her first name was Dora. Daddy married her when he was in basic training in the Army Aircore. He divorced her when he got out of the military. Daddy's family would not except her because she was mexican. And mama never knew her maiden name. The church that had their marriage records burned down around 1978 so I could not find out anything. They were divorced in Michigan but I don't know how to find their divorce information.
