My Timsons originated from Higham on the Hill, some moved to Burbage in the early 1800's, then moved to the factories in the City of Leicester when they and their Frames became redundant in the mid 1850's. Families that married into the Timsons include, Everrit, Kenney, and Goode from Higham/Burbage, Watts from Withybrook, March from Wigston/Countesthorpe, Satchell, Youles, Kibble from Hinckley, Cufflin from Ansty, Yates, Marvin, Gray and Pell.
