joridenour on 2007-06-01 15:24:09I am coming up with conflicting info on who his mother is. one says its Millie Daughtery, another says its Nancy Lawson. His children Buford & Ethel are by another women, other than my grandmother. And I am trying to find out who she was.

To answer your question Hiram was married three times. 1st to Sarah Wilson but that marriage did not produce any children. 2nd to Nancy Lawson and they had three children: James, Julie, and John, the subject of your inquiry. His third marriage was to Millie Daugherty and they had six children including Garfield, who is my Grandfather.
