My Grandfather was Wm. Nevlon Skipper, g-grandfather Wm. Charlie Skipper, g-g grandfather Wm. Skipper AL. Looking for more information or maybe some pictures.
My father used to tell me that we are descendants of the Cherokee. He wouldn't say much more than that. Some of our family have Indian characteristics. I don't know if maybe over the generations the name changed. It would be interesting to find out.
