I have some confusion in my pedigree regarding Thomas Hale (b. 1606 or 1575 at Watton-at-Stone, Hertsfordshire, England) and Joan Kirby (b. 1582 or 1572). Currently they are listed as two separate marriages with one as the parents of the other.

Either there are more than one set of people with these names or else the records are in error. To add to the confusion, there is a son named Thomas Hale (b. 1633)
