First Register of Midwives in Western Australia mentions a Hulda KALMUND.

Biographies mentioning KALMUND of Nurnberg

4 records for KALMUND within the National Archives of Australia

I was trying to check the GenesReunited website if there were any KALMUNDs but the site appears to be down.

Try and do a genealogical search engine search on the surname KALMUND to see what it can dig up on the internet. The Surname Navigator. What you do is click on a country, either Germany and/or Australia (3 searches for Australia), then type in KALMUND and press enter. About 14 window boxes will open up for you to sift through.

Good luck,

Hi Philomena,

I recently (August 2007) discovered I have a half brother who has the name of Peter Raymond Kalmund. His step father Charles Kalmund married my fathers first wife Val Toogood. Charles & Val had a son called David who I believe lives in the Warrnambool area of Western Victoria. I hope this is of interest to you.

Don Hewitt.
