Keep hitting brick walls. Trying to find a birth of great grandmother Mary WELSH supposedly born Ireland

Question by jen2

Born about 1840 in Ireland to James Welsh and Mary Welsh. She married a John Blessington in Bradford York on 6th November 1858 aged 18. Mary John & family immigrated to Australia in 1874. Have found an 1871 Census with her parents listed and it states his occupation as a Hawker of Pots and he is aged 50 and his wife Mary 43.
Any help with finding her birth would be appreciated as I have been trying for 2 years to find her.

Dear Jenny,
Mary WELSH b:1840 in Ireland d:15 July 1893 in Queensland, Australia
married John BLESSINGTON b:1835 in Ireland d:1876 in Brisbane Queensland, Australia The son of John BLESSINGTON (1809-1879)and Catherine GODGER (1816-1851)If this is the right MARY you could order the death certificate from the http://www.bdm.qld.gov.au
The reference number for her death is 1893/B26162 - Mary Blessington f:James m:Mary Perhaps her birthdate and place of birth is on the death certificate. They had six children perhaps one of those birth or death certificates has information. Hope this is of some help. Jan

Thank you for the reply. I have Marys' death certificate and it states born Bradford but no date of birth. Also have a copy of her first Australian born child and it states mother Mary Welsh was born Co. Mayo Ireland. On the 1861 UK Census it shows Mary & John Blessington both being born Ireland.
