Ethel May Kemp (second oldest child of William John and Elizabeth Hannah Franklin) born in Maidstone in 1884. The family moved to Enfield(8 children in 1901 census). Ethel gave birth to Elsie Ayres on July 21,1906 in Islington, England. Ethel and Tom Ayres (1882 - 1915)immigrated to Canada in 1910 and settled in Edmonton. Elsie did not come to Canada until 1920(?) because of health problems.
