My mother was a Kernaghan whose family hailed from mid-Antrim in the north of Ireland.
I am researching the surname Kernaghan and its many Variances and have created a website that includes the Origins of the Kernaghans in Ireland (tracked back to 9th Century) + a detailed searchable Database of all Kernaghans and surname Variances in the 1901 Censuses of the British Isles and Canada and the 1900 USA Census.
Please contact me should you wish further information or want to share your Kernaghan info

Hey I'm looking into my family members don't know much but I know that my grandfathers name was J. Kernaghan OR Kernagham I believe my name was missed spelled on the birth certificate and same on my father that is from Dominican Republic were my grandfather met my grandmother but they weren't together long because he wasn't in my fathers life. I know he was Part of the US Amry or some type of SPECIAL AGENT as my family seems to think, but would like to have my dad meet his father. He's age ranges from 70-90. NAME MAY Start with a J
