Died of wounds received the previous day 30th May 1915. Age 22.

Son of John and Mary Grace Kebbell, of Te Ranawa Ohau, Wellington, NZ. I.H.8.
Cousin of Trooper Francis Nestor Robinson (11/921), who was killed in action on 27 August 1915, at Gallipoli.
- From the Memorium at Wanganui Collegiate School: Left New Zealand with the Main Expeditionary Force as Sergeant in the 6th Manawatu Squadron, Wellington Mounted Rifles. He was severely wounded in the head by a bullet on May 29th, 1915, and laid half conscious for twelve hours in a narrow trench exposed to the sun. Stretcher
bearers got him out at 10 p.m., and carried him to hospital, where he was operated upon next day, but his strength had failed and he died in twenty-four hours. He was a Prefect in 1912, and an enthusiastic rifle shot, being in the shooting eight 1910, 1911, and 1912.
